		<description>Yes they are insured, and if you notice  that all Newcastle City council plates also do not have expiry dates.

Berwick simply followed there methods for some reason but the council inform drivers in advance of the renewal,  but we also have our own internal checks.

The old plates with dates are still valid, the council are simply deciding what to do since they have merged from berwick council to Northumberland council and this does not sit high on the agenda i guess</description>
