At Blueline we take standards seriously and work closely with local authorities and legal bodies to make sure the service that we are providing is of only the highest standards.
Staff Requirements
All of our drivers are fully licensed by the relevant authorities and are required to undergo a full background check by Northumbria Police. An individual may only obtain a taxi license if he or she is considered to be a person fit to hold one. Finally as and added precaution, we equip all our vehicles with modern electronic taxi meters that ensure your fare is calculated correctly.
Vehicle Requirements
All our vehicles are fully licensed and insured. They are examined at least twice per year, either by North Tyneside or Newcastle Licensing authorities, to ensure that an acceptable standard is maintained without exception throughout our fleet.
Our 14-seater busses are COIF tested (Certificate of Initial Fitness) and operated under a PCV operator’s license. All drivers of our buses hold a PCV driving license and are fully insured.
