claim and use your ‘free taxi ride’ in accordance with these terms and conditions, namely:

(1) You must be at least 18 years of age and not employed by or work for any part of the
Blueline Group.

(2) This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion.

(3) The North Tyneside Loyalty Club Card must be completed with your name, address and
mobile telephone number before use.

(4) A taxi ride shall only count as a ‘qualifying taxi ride’ if:
(a)  It is booked with a taxi / private hire operator that is part of the Blueline Group
to commence Monday to Friday between 04:00:00 and 16:00:00 in North Tyneside.
(b) The booking is made in the name appearing on the North Tyneside Loyalty Club Card
and the journey undertaken by that person.
(c)  The journey takes place.
(d)  The metered taxi fare for the booked journey is at least £3.
( e)  The North Tyneside Loyalty Club Card is completed with the driver’s call sign
and job number at the time the journey is made.

Blueline Group – Terms and Conditions of Free Prize Draws

These customer prize draws (draw or draws) are open to all UK residents aged 18 or over, except for anyone directly connected with the planning or administration of the draws, employees or their immediate families, agents or anyone else professionally connected with the draws. The draws are not open to residents of either Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland.
Entry to a draw is available to any qualifying person who books a taxi (a hackney carriage or private hire vehicle) with Blueline Taxis (Blueline) for a journey they make (a customer) in a relevant draw period. For the avoidance of doubt, it is the date of the journey (or the date on which the journey commences) that will determine whether a journey is eligible for entry into a draw and, if so, which of the draws.
The relevant draw periods are: (i) 17 January 2014 to 28 February 2014; (ii) 1 to 31 March 2014; and (iii) 1 to 30 April 2014.

The Booking Process

The Booking Process
All of the taxi bookings are controlled by trained operators in our call centre based in Wallsend. Below is an explanation of the procedures involved in booking a taxi with Blueline.

operator repeats your details to confirm booking
computer will then select a suitable vehicle in our fleet which is transfered the information
operator gives you and estimated time of arrival of your vehicle
operator asks if you require ringback service or textback service, the text back service is free.

The booking process normally only takes one minute and the next you hear from us is when your taxi arrives and you are informed of this by ringback.
Advance Bookings
Whenever possible, it is always advisable to book your taxi in advance. It is worth noting that pre-made bookings will always take priority. If you have a disability or require a special vehicle like the one in the image above then it is advisable that you book a day in advance.

Please be aware that Blueline cannot guarantee ongoing journey connections.
So when booking a taxi which is taking you to another journey connection please ensure you leave enough time to catch say a Train, Plane or Bus, in addition consider things like time of day, traffic rush hours, prevailing weather conditions, etc.

Please be aware that you may incur additional charges if the taxi has to travel through the Tyne Tunnel to pick you up or take you to your destination.
